NEW YORK, NY (September 12, 2007) THE ARTISTS FORUM (AF), a NY State 501(c)3 not-for-profit multi-arts service organization, proudly announces the winners of its first ever juried music competition, The AF ELECTRONIC MUSIC COMPETITION (AF-EMC).
The AF-EMC is open to all emerging and established songwriters, producers, and artists worldwide.
The AF-EMC seeks to:
•Provide professional level challenges for emerging and established artists by requiring them to present their best work for juried selection.
•Provide exposure for under-served artists and have their work heard in an industry-saturated arena.
•Enhance artist communication and contacts for future business dealings.
•Award talented artists for their hard work and commitment.
The AF-EMC offers artists specializing in digitally produced musical works a chance to have their songs judged by and receive critiques from some of the music industry's most influential professionals, and to share amongst thousands of U.S. Dollars in prizes! (See AF website for juror bios & prize listings). With an initial entry fee of $25* and each additional entry for $20 each, artists may affordably enter as many times as they wish in a multitude of categories. And AF has partnered with SONICBIDS.COM to make submitting to the AF-EMC quick and easy! (*AF Members: $20 at all times)
AF would like to thank our volunteers, judges, technical partners, and everyone who participated.
Hear samples of winning entries here or go to www.youtube.com/aftvnyc or www.current.com/people/AFTV for non-stop sample play of all winning songs.
